All six cast members are going to appear in a episode of The Simpsons, according to the Daily Star, playing vacationers at a gay holiday resort.
It will be the first time the six have reunited since finishing filming on the show, which is drawing to a close on Channel 4, and is set to stir up some protest amongst the New York based comedy's conservative fans.
According to the newspaper, the writers behind the US animated series have been "working overtime" to ensure the episode is one of the best of all time. They confirmed that all the actors will be playing gay parts, as Homer and family check into a gay hotel by mistake.
It is not the first time the Friends actors have played on the gay subtext of the show.
All three actresses - Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox Arquette and Lisa Kudrow - have kissed as part of their storylines on the show, while the boys, particularly roommates Joey and Chandler (Matt Leblanc and Matthew Perry), have been the focus of gay jokes because of their close relationship.
Additionally, it was one of the first prime time TV programmes to feature a lesbian wedding.
The Simpsons appearance is rumoured to be shown in the US early next year, and is likely to make its way to UK screens soon after.
Was soll man dazu sagen?
